Satya Mohan Joshi, born on 1921 in Lalitpur, Nepal, is the folklorist, essayist and poet. A former member-secretary of the Royal Nepal Academy and founder of Nepalese Folklore Society, is also the Chancellor of Nepal Bhasa Academy. He has to his credit about two dozons of books in Nepal Bhasa including Nepalya Rastriya Bibhuti Kalakar Arnikoya Sweta Chaitya. Madhav Lal Karmacharya, born on 1927 at Kathmandu, Nepal is the critic writer, essayist, poet and translator. He is also a former Member-Secretary of the Royal Nepal Academy. Durga Lal Shrestha, born in July 1937 at Kathmandu, Nepal, well-known poet in Nepal Bhasa and Nepali. Besides Jhasuka (Sigh) and Lisan (The solder), Pija (1967), Ji Swayambhu Twath (1986), Yaka Phalecha (1987), Inquilabya Palasa (1991), Twists and Turns, A Pick of Durga Lal Shrestha's poems (2000) and many more. Winner of Shrestha Sirapa (one and only award in Nepal Bhasa Literatures established by late Swoyambhu Lal Shrestha) His poetry collection recently translated in Japanese language. Laxman Rajbanshi, born on 1936 In Kathmandu, is an established storywriter and senior educationist. He is the Founder Principal of Siddhartha Vanasthali Institute and President of Newa Dey Daboo, a parent forum of Newar community. His short story collections includes Namingvagu Sarga/Red Sky (1988), Bulumi/Embers (1991), Dekha/The Secret Initiation (1994), AlAMATA/The Lamp on the Roof (1999) and Hyaun Nibha/Red Sun (2002) in Nepal Bhasa and Women and other short stories (1998) and Shattered Dreams and other Stories (1999) In English (both story books are translated from Nepal Bhasa by Kesar Lal Shrestha. Tirtha Raj Tuladhar, born on March 10 1925 in Kathmandu Nepal, is the first graduate of Patna University India with distinction (1953). Broadcaster, editor, administrator and former Royal Nepalese Ambassador, he is well-known and admired for his skill in translating the poems written in Nepali and Nepal Bhasa into the English language. Among his major translation works include Sugat Saurabha, an epic on the Life History of Gautam Buddha, by Chittadhar Hridaya (1998), A Representative Collection of Nepal Bhasa Poems (1997), A Harvest of poems in rwo volumes by M.B.B.Shah, a poetic name of Late King Mahendra,(1964), My wish and other poems of Vijaya Malla (1964). He also translated the European short stories into Nepal Bhasa namely Akhe/The Sacred Grain (1965), for which he received prestigious award Shrestha Sirapa (1966). He is the Biographer of His Late Majesty King Mahendra and received the Order of Trishakti Patta, Second Class (1975) and the Order of Gorkha Dakshin Bahu first class (1979) by late King Mahandra.

Dr. Tej Ratna Kansakar, born on 1938 in Kathmandu, Nepal, is M.A. in English and Ph. D. (Linguistics). He joined the Tribhuvan University in 1970 and appointed Reader in 1981. He is teaching English at the Graduate Department of English Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Kirtipur Campus, Kathmandu, Nepal. He is the founder member of Linguistic Society of Nepal (served as Secretary-Treasurer during 1980-82 and chief editor of its publication during 1983-84). His publication includes Ganki/The Eclipse, a novel written by Dhunswan Sayami, (1967), Nepal Base Short Stories , written by Chittadfhar Hriydaya,(1977), A cource on the Newari Language (1989), An anthology of Short Stories of Nepal (1992)and Forbidden Fruit and other stories (1994) in collaboration with Kesar Lal Shrestha. Purna Bahadur Vaidya, born on 1941 in Bhaktapur, Nepal, is an established poet and essayist in Nepal Bhasa and has Master degree (M.Ed) from Tribhuvan University. His works are Sarasu, a collection of poems (1963), Kavitaya Laga, a collection of writings on poetry (1995), La La Kha/Water as Water , a collection of poems (1995), Ji Chhagu Abhibyaktin(An essay collection (1971). He was awarded Shrestha Sirapa in 1964 for his poetry collection, Sarasu and in 1972 for his essay collection, Ji Chhagu Abhibyakti, Rastriya Siksha Puraskar (1993) and Rashtriya Pratibha Puraskar (1996) and Aswikrit Sahitya Puraskar (2002).His poem awarded first in the poetry contest among the poets from Asia, Africa and Latin America organized on occasion of 50th Anniversary of the People's Republic of Korea and published in Korean and English language in the book "The Sun Shines All over The World". Ram Shekhar Nakarmi, born on 1935, is an established short story writer and novelist. He has awaded the Shrestha Sirapa for his novel, Nasamphagu Cha (1972). Kesh Ratna Shakya, born on 1963 in Kathmandu, Nepal, is a young and multi-faceted writer and well-known as the satirist in Nepal Bhasa literatures. Ramesh Kaji Sthapit, born in 1955 in Kathmandu, Nepal, is a journalist, poet, humorist and essayist. He has been awarded Shri Pradhan Sirapa, Biswabhumi sirapa, Dhuswan Sirapa and Thakurlal Sirapa. His publications include Mulakae Madugu Muluk, a collection of essays and Jya Madumha Manu, a collection of short stories. Shanta Das Manandhar, born on 1934 in Kathmandu, Nepal, is the essayist and writer of the Children literatures in Nepal Bhasa and Nepali. He is the editor and publisher of Macha Kewa (Childrens' Garden), the childrens' monthly magazine in Nepal Bhasa since 9 years and Bal Koseli/Childrens' Gifts, the children's monthly magazine in Nepali since 20 years. Subarna Keshari Chitrakar, born on 1942 in Kathmandu, Nepal, is an established storywriter. Saraswoti Tuladhar, born on 1954 in Kathmandu Nepal and M.A. in Nepal Bhasa, is a storywriter and researcher. She is a founder member of Nepal Bhasa Women's Organization (Nepal Bhasa Misa Khalah) and now engaged in teaching Nepal Bhasa in Paropaker High School. She has published her collection of short stories, Poubha:Chhagu Jivanya/Canvas: Of A Life (2002) and her research works on Moti Laxmi Upasika ( the first lady story writer in Nepal Bhasa) as "Moti Laxmi Upasikaya Byaktitwa and Krititwa/Profile and Works of Moti Laxmi Upasika". Dwarika Shrestha,
born on 1936 in Bandipur, west of Nepal, M.A. in English, is an established and prominent poet and an entrepreneur in travel trade. He is the Executive Chairman of Chitwan Jungle Lodge, http://www.chitwanjunglelodge.com. He is the promoter of literary activities in all categories. He was the lecturer in English literatures  from 1961- 1972.  He is the treasurer of Nepal Sahityakar Samsad. His publications in Nepali language are Shitko Thopa (Dew drops) 1958 and Dwarika Shresthaka Kavitaharu ( Dwarika Shrestha’s poems) 1967. His poems in Nepali, Nepalbhasa, Hindi and English are published in different periodicals and magazines in Nepal and other countries.  He has been organizing and sponsoring literary festival in jungle for last 15 years. Her publication includes four collections of her poetry in Nepali, Painyu Phulna Thalepachhi, Junkiriharu Worlirahechha, Nilo Nilo Aakash ra Due Thopa Aansu and Durgam Uchaima Phulko Aandhi. She is the recipient of  Padma Kanya Award, Royal Nepal Academic award, Shatabdi Yuba Samman and Mohan Smriti Samman Puraskar. Mangal Prasad Shrestha, born on 1946, in Katmandu, Nepal, is an essayist. He has published a book with collection of essays, Jigu Dairy:Chhapu Pau/My Diary: A letter.
